What To Expect

Day 1 : Arrival at Delhi and relax at the hotel

On your arrival at Delhi airport for Golden Triangle Tour with Tiger & Lakes, our representative will transfer you to air-conditioned car as you will leave for your hotel. Rest of the Day will be at leisure or you can carry out independent activities like visiting any of the colorful markets in Delhi. Return to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 2 : Delhi full Day sightseeing

After having breakfast at the hotel, you will depart to enjoy the full Day sightseeing in Delhi that begins with historic Old Delhi. You will visit Red Fort (Lal Qila), a massive red sandstone monument that was built by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan. Then sightseeing continues to Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India. Later visit Qutub Minar, second tallest minar (tower) in India. After this, you will visit sights in New Delhi that includes Humayun’s Tomb, first garden tomb of India that was commissioned by Hamida Banu Begum Humayun’s wife and designed by Mirak Mirza a Persian architect in the year in 1562. Then visit Parliament house, a building comprising of library, many committee rooms and houses ministerial offices. Return to hotel for overnight stay.
Please Note: Red Fort, Lotus Temple, and Akshardham Temple remain closed on Mondays.

Day : 3-Drive to Agra and city tour of Agra

Have breakfast at the hotel, leave for Agra by surface. After arrival, you will visit Agra Fort, a massive red-sandstone fort located on the bank of the Yamuna River that was constructed in the year 1565 by Mughal Emperor Akbar. Then sightseeing continues to Itimad-ud-Daulah’s tomb (Baby Taj), built between 1622 and 1628 by Nur Jahan, the wife of Mughal emperor Jahangir in the memory of her father Mirza Ghiyas Beg. At the time of sunset, you will visit Taj Mahal, white marble mausoleum built by Emperor Shah Jahan in the memory of his favorite queen, Mumtaz Mahal. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day : 4-Drive to Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri

Optional: This morning, you can visit Taj Mahal again at the time of sunrise. Have breakfast at the hotel, as you will leave for Jaipur. En Route visit Fatehpur Sikri, fortified ancient city that comprises of three palaces and a mosque. On completion of the sightseeing, you will drive towards Jaipur and after arrival check-in the hotel for overnight stay.

Optional:- If you prefer to enjoy traditional Rajasthani food and dance, then you can visit Chokhi Dhani- an ethnic resort in Jaipur.

Day : 5- Jaipur full day Sightseeing

Have breakfast at the hotel, depart for full day sightseeing in Jaipur. Begin the day by witnessing stunning Amber Fort, located just 11km away from Jaipur. This fort has four huge courtyards and you can enjoy a elephant ride to reach the centre of this fort, which will make your morning- truly unforgettable. Continuing with sightseeing, you will see Jal Mahal (Lake Palace), a palace located in the middle of the Man Sagar Lake. This palace is built in red sandstone and has five storied building wherein four floors remain under water when the lake is full and the top floor is only exposed. After this, you will visit City Palace, built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II between 1729 and 1732 AD. It comprises of attractive gardens, vast courtyards and numerous edifices.  Then visit Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds)- constructed by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh in the year 1799. It is a five storied building that is made in pink sandstone and looks like a honeycombed hive. After this explore Albert Hall, museum located in Ram Niwas garden. This monument has a big and rich collection of artifacts such as carpets, metal sculptures, colorful crystal works, stones and paintings. Later in the evening, you can do shopping in any of the colorful markets in Jaipur which are famous for traditional jewelry and other handicrafts. Return to the hotel for comforting overnight stay.

Day : 6- Drive to Pushkar

Have breakfast at the hotel, then you will drive towards Pushkar, which is one of the holiest cities in India. On arrival at Pushkar, check-in to your hotel for short relax. Enjoy Pushkar Fair, wherein you can various competitions, such as camel race, beauty pageant and much more. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day : 7- Pushkar full day Sightseeing

After having breakfast at the hotel, you will visit Pushkar Lake- one of the sacred lakes in India and it is believed to be formed when a lotus fall from the hands of Lord Brahma- the creator of the world. Then you will visit Brahma Temple – it is the one and only temple in India wherein Lord Brahma is worshipped.  Also enjoy Pushkar Fair, wherein you can various competitions. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day : 8- Drive to Udaipur

Have breakfast at the hotel, depart for Udaipur. On arrival check-in the hotel for overnight stay.

Day : 9- Udaipur full day sightseeing

After breakfast at the hotel, embark upon full day sightseeing in Udaipur. Begin your wonderful day in this “City of Lakes” by visiting Jagdish Temple, situated in the City Palace complex. This temple is dedicated Lord Jagannath (an incarnation of Lord Vishnu) and  was constructed by Maharana Jagat Singh, who ruled Udaipur during 1628-1653. It is made in the Indo-Aryan style of architecture. Then explore City Palace, a grand palace constructed by Maharana Udai Singh. It belongs to the royal Mewar family and features a great blend of the Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. This palace comprises of hanging gardens, towers, pavilions, rooms, corridors, courtyards and domes. You will have boat ride in the Pichola Lake. After this visit Saheliyon ki Bari, a beautiful garden that is famous for its marble art, fountains and lush green lawns. It was constructed in the 18th century by Maharana Sangram Singh. It comprises of bird fountains, carved marble elephants, bougainvillea creepers, lotus blossoms and ornamental pools. Then visit Fateh Sagar Lake, an artificial lake built in the year 1888 by Maharana Fateh Singh. You will enjoy a boat ride in this lake. After completion of the sightseeing, return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day : 10- Flight to Delhi and relax

After having breakfast at the hotel, you will be dropped at Udaipur airport to board your flight to Delhi. On arrival, check in your hotel for overnight stay.

Day : 11- Flight at Cochin and relax at hotel

After having breakfast at the hotel, you will be dropped at Delhi airport to board your flight to Cochin. On arrival, board your international flight to home or next destination.

Day : 12- Cochin full day sightseeing with Kathakali dance show

After having breakfast at the hotel, you will leave for full-day sightseeing in Cochin wherein you will visit Mattancherry Palace, built by the Portuguese and presented to the Raja of Kochi in 1555. Then visit  Santa Cruz Basilica, built 1905 with exquisite murals and frescoes by the Portuguese and has an excellent gothic façade flanked by two majestic towers. After this visit St. Francis Church, which was built by the Portuguese in 1503 AD is the oldest European church in India. Later visit Indo-Portuguese museum, which is a Christian heritage museum, is located on the Cochin Bishop House premises. The museum has five galleries with an outstanding collection of treasures that offers a glimpse of Cochin’s Portuguese heritage. On completion of the sightseeing, you will leave to visit the Kathakali center to enjoy traditional Kathakali dance. Return to the hotel for comfortable overnight stay.

Day : 13- Drive to Alleppey for backwaters and enjoy in boat

Have breakfast at the hotel, then you will drive towards Alleppey for backwaters wherein you will enjoy in a boat. As the boat ride past coconut thatched houses and old colonial warehouses, surrounded by breathtaking scenery. Catch a glimpse into the lives of local families living along the banks of the canals as they go about their daily household chores. Return to the hotel for comfortable overnight stay.

Day : 14 – Drive to Cochin and Departure to Delhi

Have breakfast at the hotel, then you will drive towards Cochin. On arrival at this place, you will be dropped at Cochin airport to board your flight to Delhi.
