What To Expect

Day 1 : Arrival at Kathmandu and relax at hotel

On your arrival at Kathmandu International airport for Kathmandu Tour with Chitwan National Park, our representative will transfer you to air-conditioned car as you will leave for your hotel. Rest of the day will be at leisure or you can carry out independent activities like visiting any of the colorful markets in Kathmandu. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 2 : Kathmandu full day sightseeing

After having breakfast at the hotel, you will leave for full day sightseeing in Kathmandu wherein you will visit Pashupatinath temple- one of the holiest Hindu temples in world which is dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is situated on the bank of the sacred Bagmati river and built in pagoda style having brilliantly carved silver doors and gilded roof. Then visit Boudhanath Stupa- which was constructed by King Man Deva. It contains inset prayer wheels and built on an octagonal base. The big shrine is enclosed by the houses of Buddhist priests- Lamas. After seeing these two tourist attractions, you will drive towards Patan (Lalitpur)- a city of fine arts surrounded by four stupas, and believed to be constructed by Emperor Ashoka in the 3rd century A.D. In this place, you will visit Patan Durbar square, which houses many temples. Then visit Tibetan Refugee Centre and the Handicraft Centre to witness the molding of metal statues and hand weaving of Tibetan carpets. After this you will visit Swayambhunath- Buddhist stupa that is considered to be 2000 years old. The main structure is made from brick that supports a lofty conical spire capped by a peak of gilt copper. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 3 : Drive to Lumbini and relax at hotel

Have breakfast at the hotel, then you will drive towards Lumbini. On reaching this place, you will check-in the hotel for short relax. Rest of the day is free for independent activities. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 4 : Lumbini full day sightseeing

After having breakfast at the hotel, you will leave for full day sightseeing in Lumbini wherein you will visit Sacred Garden- the garden wherein Prince Siddhartha Gautam was born in 623 BC. and later became the Buddha. After this you will visit, Mayadevi Temple- where the excavations reveal the “marker stone” reprresenting the exact spot where Gautam Buddha was born.It also has sacred Puskarni Pond wherein Queen Mayadevi took bath before giving birth to Buddha. It is also this pond in which infant Buddha had his first bath. Continue sightseeing by visiting the Myanmar Temple (Lokamani Cula Pagoda)- a glossy white and gold structure that looks like the Shwe-dagon Pagoda of Yangon. Then visit the China Temple, which was constructed by the Buddhist Association of China and has a big complex of meditation cells, prayer rooms and pagodas. On completion of the sightseeing, return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 5 : Drive to Pokhara and relax at hotel

Have breakfast at the hotel, then you will drive towards Pokhara. On reaching this place, you will check-in the hotel for short relax. Rest of the day is free for independent activities. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 6 : Pokhara full day sightseeing

After having breakfast at the hotel, you will leave for full day sightseeing in Pokhara wherein you will visit Phewa Tal (Lake) – the second largest lake in Nepal wherein you can enjoy boat ride. Then you will visit Mahendra Cave- a large limestone cave that is the abode of bats. You must carry a torch with you to see the stalagmites and stalactites. After this you will visit Devi’s Fall- an awesome waterfall and known for its serene beauty. In the evening, you can relax at the hotel and enjoy the sunset view. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 7 : Drive to Kathmandu and relax at hotel

Have your breakfast at the hotel, then if you can again enjoy a boat ride in Phewa Tal (Lake). Then drive towards Kathmandu and on arrival at the this place, check-in the hotel for comfortable overnight stay.

Day 8 : Drop at Kathmandu International Airport

After having breakfast at the hotel, then you will be transferred to the car and then dropped at Kathmandu International airport to board your flight to next destination or home.
